Irish Tipplers
After a few years experimenting crossbreeding Tipplers with racingpigeons I have out of 6 youngsters 1 Cock from 2009 which had 2 prices. As yearling on Bordeaux (991 km) and when he was 2 years old on Bordeaux-Agen (1023 km). His mother (50% Tippler) I raced when I was still living in Staphorst on Montauban. She just missed the resultlist but she was just one year old.
Its very difficult to keep the crossbreeds on the loft, especially the Cocks. Immediately after weening I let them explore the environment but after only two days they take their wings and leave. Next year I start a new experiment. I want to inbreed the Cock with his mother and their young I will breed with normal racingbirds again.
